I love exploring new places and learning about different cultures through experience. I grew up road tripping around the US on family vacations and now enjoy supplementing mini-van trips with airplane tickets.

I am a fan of all sports... always down to watch or play a game. I'm also into biking, hiking, skiing and anything else outdoors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The people I have met while traveling are what make the trips memorable and at the end of the day your stories are all you have. Couchsurfing seems like an ideal way to share stories with interesting people while continuing to explore the world.

Also, I would rather spend money on gas/plane tickets than hotels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

More than once I have fallen asleep sitting in an aluminum tube and woken up a few hours later in another country on the other side of the ocean. Engineering is amazing!
