I was born in raised in the middle of the USA and have the biggest itch to travel and learn about other cultures through unique and fun experiences while meeting some friends along the way. I first travelled outside of the United States in the summer of 2022 after the restrictions of Covid were lifted. I took part in a study abroad class for 3 weeks and then travelled by myself for another 3 weeks learning about the surrounding areas of Europe that I had always read about or heard from others. Ever since then, I have had an itch to travel and it hasn't been satisfied yet.
I am 23 and currently work in Omaha, Nebraska, USA, as an architectural designer for a national integrated design firm. I am going back to University to pursue my graduate degree in Architecture Practice in the fall of 2024. Before that I hope to travel and to learn from other's perspectives about cultures around the world. I would hope to do this through meals, physical activities, story telling, sight seeing, and getting connected with others around the area.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I'm on Couchsurfing to grow intellectually, socially, and spiritually. I want to be empathetic and understand the different cultures of the world. For me to be a successful designer and a well rounded adult, I need to learn from others through travelling. I want to listen to someone I think I'd have nothing in common with. I want to be open to the world where I may not understand. I want to disagree with someone but then buy them a drink after anyways as I understand where they're coming from. This is the best place I think I can do that.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I enjoy all kinds of music but some of my favorites are EDM/electricdance, alternative/beach rock, and folk country. I especially love LIVE MUSIC!!! Some of my favorite movies are 'Shawshank Redemption', 'Interstellar', and any Quentin Tarantino movie. Some of my favorite books include, 'Let My People Go Surfing', 'This Side of Paradise', and 'The Alchemist'.

I've ran a 26.2 mile marathon with no training, with 3 of my friends.
I've successfully hiked up and down a mountain in Switzerland in only jeans and flipflops.
