About Me

For a past few years I have been in transition from gastro to data job.
In the past 7 years was working in many restaurants as a cook and was running kitchen for 3 years as a chef.
2023 I started MSc studies in Applied Information and Data Science @ Lucerne University of Applied Sciences.
Was fired from gasro job and now I am fresh data manager at Lubio Science.
So, I live in Chur, work in Zurich and study in Lucerne - that's the journeys that left to enjoy in my busy life for now :D

Before moving from Lithuania, I was active guitar player in reggae/dub band Ministry of echology.

I was long time member of HospitalityClub, then moved to CS and later on to BW guests. I participated in CS meeting in Birmingham, Amsterdam and met some CS'ers in Lithuania.

Books - I don't read much, but when I read it's about wilderness surviving, cooking, scout literature, Carlos Castaneda, places to visit.

Movies - Mr. Nobody, Dallas buyers club, Her, The Fountain, Ex Machina, The skin I live in, Dot the I, Inception, Prestige. I also enjoy silly comedy or action movie with a lot of sound!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept in summer sleeping bag when weather was minus 17 oC, Lithuania.
Spent a night in BIO WC through heavy rain, Amsterdam.
Travelled for more that half of the year in India - Nepal - Cambodia - Laos.
Had a gig for 1000+ people audience, who came to listen to our solo concert.
Spent a night in the Rajasthan Thar Desert with sky full of stars watching them falling, India.
Hiked summit Tsergo Ri (~ 5000 m.) in Nepal.
Catched the wave with surfboard in Imssouane, Morroco.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try to teach you to juggle three/four/five beanbags, to play the guitar, to cook simple comforting meal, have a hike in beautiful Swiss Alps. To cook a bread on a stone or piece of wood, to cook egg in an orange shelf. To show you Northern star! Guide you through psycho-visual meditation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Bed sheets, towels, tea/coffee, shower and hikes! Ofcourse, salt, pepper, oil could be found in the kitchen and be welcome to use that! Feel free to combine your meal with food that could be found in the fridge.
