About Me

about me ? I am a person who likes to talk to people, learn about new cultures, and listen to stories or what each person has to say.

I come from a small rural town in the middle of nowhere, my mother is a single mother, and I grew up surrounded by friends and animals.

I really like animals and children, I am passionate about nature in general, it is my greatest connection with the world when contemplating it.

I come from a family of social workers, and I have volunteered in many places in my country and throughout the world, it is something that I really like and where I find a place and purpose in the world.

I am an easy going person, we can talk about anything and I think most people who know me feel comfortable around me, without judgment.

I have been in the process of self-knowledge for the last 7.8 years. which has given me many sadnesses, and also joys. The cycles of life basically.

What's important? live each day with its nuance, with its color. Experience it, don't let it go away like just another day. turn off autopilot

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The main reason, I think, is to meet new people. I think that meeting people when you arrive at a place can be what can leave me the most wealth, this is a personal opinion obviously, but I think that when I travel, the external social validation in a different society, new people, cultures, new ways, religions. They internally reflect new versions of me, I discover myself much more, as Krishnamurti says, the journey is always internal. The exterior, society is simply a reflection of the interior.

When traveling, prejudices, barriers are broken down, understanding that there are as many possible ways and visions of the world as there are people in it, discovering how small we can be in such an immense world but at the same time being part of a whole.

Couchsurfing is a tool, beyond providing a platform to meet people, to show that people are not as bad as the mass media makes us believe and that there are many people in the world willing to help, willing to open doors. from his house to a "stranger", and that, for me, is something fantastic

Teach, Learn, Share

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I like to learn the history of countries but told from the people, I like to listen to each person's story and empathize with it.

basically sharing a meal, a drink, a chat, a coffee, whatever you want.

Teach ? No, I am nobody to teach anyone anything. I speak English and we can chat English if you want to practice. I understand that in Spanish-speaking countries there is not much English.

What I Can Share with Hosts

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Everything I have, I can share. Cook, eat haha, chat about the topic you want, you can teach me new things that I don't know, we can go for a walk, trekking in the mountains, diving.

I always like to contribute to the house I stay in, since the host shares with me something as important as his place, his home, I like to collaborate with food, with a gift, I like to exchange favors without it just being money for money , but something more valuable. something that is useful.
