Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

My first experience with CS was through my roommate Alice when we were living together in Victoria. I had never heard of it before and thought it was an amazing idea, which we tried as we were travelling together.
I have had some incredible couchsurfing experiences. It was basically how I travelled throughout North America. Some of the most memorable ones were with an amazing family in Seattle, a group of graduates in San Francisco, some students in Chicago, a variety of hosts in New York City! A doctor in Boston, two young professionals in Toronto, the best group of Aussie boys in Jasper (this one is a favourite memory) and the kindest elderly couple in Comox, Vancouver Island.

The bottom line is that each of these couchsurfs were different, and each one was enriching, interesting and most definitely is that extra something when discovering a new place. Having a local or someone who knows the area well means they can share the little gems of a place that no tour guide or lonely planet book can tell you about...

The countryside/beaches - a Kernow girl can't deny how lucky she is to live with the beach at her doorstep
