Hello! My name is Jeffrey and I'm a software engineer from San Francisco, California, though I'm originally from Texas. I'm an avid traveler and love experiencing new cultures, especially the food!

I’m someone who’s passionate about learning about and experiencing a breadth of things. I love to travel internationally to destinations most people would never consider (recently went camping solo in the deserts of Oman), and I crave the chance to get deeply immersed in other cultures. I’m a “hacker” and love to build stuff to solve hard problems, an avid reader, and constant learner. I’m fascinated by psychology and am passionate about meditation, entheogenic medicines, and consciousness. Otherwise I enjoy EDM/house music and drinks with strangers! Burner in case anyone else has been!

Music: I love to dance and enjoy music I can dance to. Typically listen to electronic house/dance music and enjoy music festivals!
Books: I read lots of non-fiction, and love a range of science topics, though focus mainly on psychology, self-improvement, neuroscience, and astrophysics/astronomy.
Movies: Don't watch many, too many places to travel and things to learn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked Southeast Asia for two months. Ended up doing a 7-day silent meditation retreat at a monastery and getting a sakyant tattoo from a monk.
