About Me

Born on a rainy spring day, and raised on the country side in Sweden. I have a big corky family, a strong bond to nature and love falafel, Jeff Buckley and movies that everyone else hates.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because the concept is lovely.
I have always stayed in hotels when I traveled with my family but it's expensive and quite boring. I want to see and explore things hotels can't give me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Folk, reggea and music people usually call depressing. Always been told I was born in the wrong decade with the taste of music I have, but ah well!

Most favourite movies are from the 90's. Other than that I am a fan of Wes Anderson, Roy Anderson and the Coen Brothers. I was volounteering for Reykjavik International Film Festival lately and it really opened up my eyes for foreign film, please show me your best one!

Just to read A LOT as younger but got kind of lost when the computer era took over, such a shame and I am really trying to find back to it. Some books that really affected me, The Perfume, Simon & the Oaks and The Secret History.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to Myanmar was an eye-opener. Coolest thing ever was going in a hot air balloon over the temple city Bagaan at sunrise. Other than that, snorkeling in the glaciar water of Silfra (Iceland), wrote a play as a school project and saw Roger Waters, The Wall, live. What a world to live in.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share experiences and stories, but frankly, I am more in this to me explore and to be taught by others since I consided myself a newbie to life in general. Hopefully I have something to give, not the best cook but will try to keep up!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my gratitude with hosts I am staying with. I am social, so I would love to talk and maybe do something in the city if a chance comes. I will share happiness (if I'm not hungry, then I'm not a funny person to be around, ask anyone).
