We are Jenny and Santiago

Currently we are leading a permaculture project, regenerating the place where we are living with native trees and plants. We live in 46 acres in San Andres, a countryside space 30 min from Riobamba. Come, help and visit us!

We are interested in regeneration, health, fermented foods, beekeeping, biology, ancestral knowledge and farming. We live in a bambú and soil house.

In this house during morning from Monday to Friday we run an educational project so if you want to come, you will be part of a children safe space during the time that the kids are around. From 8 am to 1 pm

Before you send us a message we have some rules in the hose.

- we wake up early, around 6 am
- the kitchen space is part of the “school” so we can use it before 8 am and after 1pm. When children leave the place.
- we need that you help us in chores and farm activities with the animals or the garden. At least 4 hours per day during the time that we are hosting you
. This will keep the spirit of “Ayni” (reciprocity)
- in the afternoon we will have more time to share with you.

Our project is called KuriKinti means “golden hummingbird” is a learning space. Be aware that we are living in the countryside.

I travelled to Peru as a backpacker when I was 18 was a fantastic experience, I met a lot of people and this experience made me open my mind.
I was living in indigenous communities in the country and I was teaching children.
