About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Done with the travel bug, and have settled down with an amazing family based in Wellignton,

ABOUT ME

Born and bred here in NZ, I feel like I've experienced the real world and what it has to offer via a previous travelling lifestyle. I enjoyed seeing what makes other cultures tick and what they take for granted. I like to be busy and always try to find jobs that will keep me going and excited to work, while still giving me a chance to experience new people and places.
I love a lot of the places i've visited, everywhere is so different and it's impossible to take everything in but I'm still young so i'm going to give a damn good effort and try to make the most of my time.

PHILOSOPHY

"Just do it!"

"Making the most of every day as if it is my last and every breath as if it were the same"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Done with the travelling, so currently maybe just a bit of hosting and sharing the vibe! However with a young family at home this makes it slightly more challenging

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A bit of staying here and there, with a bit of travelling. Nice to be able to meet people anywhere in the world who are on the same wavelength and travel or surf or whatever with them.

Interests

Being active in the outdoors, rock climbing, sea kayaking, mountain biking and other random stupid crazy made-up sports,

  • traveling
  • socializing
  • outdoor activities
  • cycling
  • kayaking
  • sports
  • rock climbing
  • lakes

Music, Movies, and Books

"Tony Hawkes' Hitch-hiking round Ireland with a fridge". I don't read much but this one caught my eye. I can relate because I used to hitch-hike to work each week and the idea of taking fridge along is the sort of random crazy thing I'd do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Aurora Australis reflecting in one of New Zealands' southern lakes, absolutely spectacular. The sky looked like gentle but fast waves of purple light and the lake was glowing an eary green colour. We were just sitting on the bank drunkenly in awe of this amazing natural beauty!
