I am maths nerd, world traveler, day dreamer, risk taker, adventure lover. Right now I am working as a highschool teacher. As a reward, I will travel one country to celebrate that I survive another semester. I like traveling as a backpacker and live as a couch surfer. That makes me feel like get into the city and understand more deeply about the city.

I️ married to the one l deeply love. He’s the kindest person I️ve ever met. He is nice, polite and smart. We are classmates. I️ was a solo traveler until the day I️ met him. I️ would love to share my love story to you.

I lived in Kentucky for 5 years and just moved to Oregon because my Hubby got an offer from here. we decided to do a road trip from KY to OR, we ended up throwing bunch of craps and only keep the essential, and becoming a minimalist. So our new place is really empty, make sure you read the description of my house before you request to stay with us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At first beginning, I just want to meet some new people, better understand their lives. After I did CS couple times, host and surfer, I realized that it's about given and taken. This community is built for travelers who can help each other. Today, I offered you a cozy bed and warm tea, tomorrow someone will offer the same thing to me at another corner of the world .

Interests

I love traveling because I can make new friends and learn new things. Especially travel alone. So far I've been Germany, India, Thailand and Mexico. Photography is my biggest interest. Frozen the moment, remind you where you have been and what you have done.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not a big fan of movie or tv show, but there is one I really do like is Black Mirror, a British show. Strongly recommend to watch that.

Sounds cliche, but I love orchestra opera. I will go to orchestra concert occasionally. My favorite opera is the phantom of the opera, I watched this multiple times and cried for few times, so touched.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived 2 school years in a Ph.D math program, and yet more to come. I think I can brag about that, given the fact that I am not a smart person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach college algebra in community college at night. And teach highschool during the day For me maths is fun, however for most of people maths is uninteresting and boring.

Also I love cooking, I will host Saturday dinner and Sunday brunch occasionally.
