I started a business providing IT computer services and custom software programming at age 12. I received mention in Newsweek magazine and was the recipient of the Young Entrepreneur Award from the National Foundation for Independent Business. After a career in IT that begun quite early, I worked through a number of contracting roles in Alabama. Currently remotely working in a Senior Program Manager role for a Fortune 10 FAANG technology company.

I am looking to meet new people, make friends, and have experiences that can't be found in a hotel room.

Interests

I enjoy the outdoors, as well as the performing arts. I regularly catch Broadway plays or the Opera when visiting New York City for business or pleasure, and am a patron of touring and local fine art performances as well. I was a bass vocalist for The Phoenix Symphony, the leading orchestra in Phoenix, Arizona. My claim to fame was performing "Singin' In the Rain" with Debbie Reynolds on stage in a revue she was participating in.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie would have to be the star-laden classic comedy, "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World."

My favorite book at the moment (depends which day you ask) is "Warriors Don't Cry" by Melba Pattillo Beals. She was one of the Little Rock Nine during the early integration efforts in the south. I had the fortune of being able to meet and have lunch with Carlotta Walls LaNier, another of the Little Rock Nine.

I am a wizard with technology. If there is any problem, great or small, that involves technology I can likely fix it. Heck, I can even whip up some custom software for you if needed. As an entrepreneur I have some great ideas and advice on taking and incubating any potential business ideas you might have.
