About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a 25 year-old portuguese, who just came back from 14 month trip in South American!
I started in Colombia, in October 2015, then went down to Ecuador, where I've worked in an hostel for 2 and a half months, travelled to Peru, Bolivia, Paraguai, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Brasil and now I am back home, in Portugal.

Before this trip, I was doing an internship in Paris in OECD, in the areas of Cooperation for Development and Environment. But being a diplomat is not really for me, I guess...

I studied International Relations in the beautiful academic city Coimbra, in Portugal, and did my Erasmus (exchange program) in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.
After that I moved to Berlin for a year to work as an Aupair. I've also worked in Lisbon, Portugal, as a tour guide in one of the best hostels of the country. I was driving a tuk-tuk around the hills, sharing my love for this special city.

I consider myself an open-minded, communicative and outgoing person who can adapt pretty much to every environment or circunstances. I am not afraid of challenges, in fact, they keep me going :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just as everyone here, I believe that there is nothing better than visiting a place through the eyes of a local. I've had so many amazing experiences that would never have happened if I haven't done couchsurfing. I am thankful for this platform and for the awesome people it brings together!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My almost one year long trip in South America has brought me unforgetable moments that I will forever cherish.
For example, spending three days in a cargo boat in the Paraná River, in the Brazilian Pantanal, watching crocodiles and monkeys along the way, in order to cross from Paraguay to Bolivia and spending 2 days with the military in the border waiting for a car to hitchhike to the nearest border control.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing is caring, as I've learnt once. I am ready to do so!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good conversation, a nice walk on the city, maybe some beers and a typical portuguese dish!
