Overview
About Me
I had been self employed for 15 years. I am currently employed with our provincial electric utility. Kim works at the local wine store and is a budding wine aficionado.
We have a small but cozy home in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada.
We are also members of a cycling hosting network called Warmshowers.
We host students from all over the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Kim and I learned about couch surfing from a hitch hiker we picked up on one of our journeys. We always are looking forward to the opportunity to either host or be hosted and share a little bit of us with the world...
Having now hosted and having been hosted several times, I can say that there is no better vehicle for peace and understanding than a network like Couchsurfing can create to help us understand the true differences and commonalities we have with our brothers around the globe. We are also members of a cycling hosting network called Warmshowers which has been a wonderful to help and meet new and interesting people from around the world.
We belong to 2 networks of international student hosting. We have hosted kids from, China, Spain, Colombia, Venezuela, Japan, Australia, Germany, Mexico, Norway etc...
