When I was traveling I got help from a lot of generous people, I can help other travellers with a place to stay, what goes around comes around

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couch surfing has really helped in times of need of a place to sleep and more importantly connected me with great people for socialising and exploring different places with the locals or with other adventurous travellers, Hostels and the guests with in the hostels can be a toxic unpleasant environment.

music and festivals - I try to go to festivals in each country I visit, I find its great way to learn and, connect with like minded people.
