About Me

I am a life long alaskan and a gypsy soul from a young age. I work two weeks at a time so in my off time I love to travel, meet new people and experience this wonderful world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

New to the couch-surfing world, really like the idea of meeting and learning form locals and since now days I travel solo alot more this is really really appealing to me and my budget ! I am excited to host and to be hosted by the community.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I am a lyric person and I love everything from old school rap to outlaw country. I will always listen to classic rock and have in the last few years really found a home with singer songwriter types.

As far as movies go again I am varied I like everything from classic black and white films to Disney to The Godfather ( but I mean c'mon who doesn't like the The Godfather??) I do gravitate towards documentaries now days quite a bit though.

I know this sounds like rinse & repeat but with books its more of the same with the assortment. I enjoy a good fiction but my recent stuff has been my bio's and reflective nonfiction. I am into everything from Stephen King to how-to and DIY books to Ray Dalio and philosophy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While its maybe not amazing to most anyone else I am going to say the most amazing thing I have done is probably spend time with my daughter who teaches me SO many lessons on the daily.

Teach, Learn, Share

I freely love to teach any knowledge I have acquired over the years and I am full of questions and always eager to learn some new stuff!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Like I said earlier on the conversational side of things i am well versed in history and obviously fluent in english and on the more practical side i am definitely handy with building things, electrical low voltage work and automation as well so anything I could do to help out a host would be cool for me.
