At college, I got the opportunity to study abroad in The Czech Republic for 4 months. It was eye opening. Ever since I've been addicted to traveling when I can and meeting people from anywhere and everywhere.

I'm a fiction writer, avid music lover (I go to a lot of shows!). Super into cooking and food. I teach literature, composition, and creative writing at university.

Recent history: Most recently moved to Philly. Before I was in Syracuse NY for grad school. Before that I was in Massachusetts for undergrad (I went to school late!). Before that I was in Los Angeles for 12 years doing carpentry building music studios and playing music.

Interests

I used to be a musician in Los Angeles for 12 years. I really love playing music, as I find it kind of cathartic. Playing shows, or going to the show, and having fun with everybody there, dancing, playing and listening to good music.
