About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel and see as much of the world as possible, meet some cool people, and become fluent in Spanish

ABOUT ME

I'm a laid back guy who loves to travel. I've been planning a trip to Europe (at least subconsciously) for a while now and am excited that it is finally happening. I'm a chef, along with having other random talents, love wine & being around interesting people.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel like lately there is an activist stirring in me, with so many issues concerning us around the world. I feel like the more friendships we make and cultures we sympathize with, the better our world will be

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted several travelers years ago when I lived in Portland Oregon, but I moved and became busy with other things. I'm looking forward to starting up again - both hosting & being hosted

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every experience was fantastic and so genuine. It was a pleasure to show people the insider's version of how to have fun where I lived.

Interests

Aside from wine and cooking, I'm kind of a golf nut. If I could travel for the rest of my life, I would.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had many wonderful camping experiences all over the United States - definitely one of my favorite activities. I lived in Panama for a year, seen the most stunning starry skies in the deserts of Jordan and Kuwait, gone white water canoeing on some remote rivers in Maine, shared Yerba Mate with some amazing people in Argentina...

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a chef and truly love to cook. I believe cooking a meal together can bridge any cultural gap. I also practice & teach Qi Gong, a form of Tai Chi, and would be happy to share in either

Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Chile, Honduras, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Trinidad and Tobago, United Arab Emirates, United States
