About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet new people, and travel
ABOUT ME
My wife Fabiana (http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/faba/) and I met through CS and recently moved to California for my job. We both are interested in traveling and meeting new people.
I spend as much time as I possibly can outside! By far my favorite thing to do is camp and backpack, but I also spend time snowboarding, rock climbing and mountain biking.
When I am inside, I'm either writing (or procrastinating or beating myself up because I'm procrastinating and not writing) playing my guitar and reading. Good conversations are one of the best things in life.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't focus on making alot of money, but on doing what I want to do and living my life right now. I like people and really enjoy getting to know new ones.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have a couch to offer and look forward to meeting other surfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've made some great friends couchsurfing in Ecuador and Argentina.
Interests
Traveling! Learning spanish, playing my guitar and trumpet (neither of which I am very good at), drinking good beer, camping, backpacking, reading nearly anything I can get my hands on, rock climbing, floating lazily down a river in an inner-tube on hot summer days with beer in hand, spotting wolves in the wild. Playing hide and seek with river otters. Eating. I could go on, but I won't.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - I tend to enjoy films that focus more on plot and characters than on action-packed adventure. Music - everything from jazz, like classic Miles Davis and John Coletraine, to Folk, like Gregg Brown and David Wilcox, to stuff that's hard to classify like Ryan Adams or the B-side Players.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lots to list here... lets talk about it over a beer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I point out some interesting backpacking trips where you are likely to see no one in Utah, southern Arizona and northern Wyoming. I also know the location of some spectacular natural hot springs, if you're interested and nice to me. lol.
