About Me

Hello there 。◕ ‿ ◕。

My name is Julaina, juju for short.
I am a cheerful, sociable and outgoing person who loves to make new friends and try out new experiences. There is nothing to lose trying out new things, right 😉
Other than that, I love to explore scenic places and enjoy delicious food (be it local shops or cafes).
I have graduated from Singapore Institute of Technology with Bachelor in Hospitality Business.
My real career plan would to be an event planner but let's just say, full-time traveller in midst of it. XD

Next destination: Korea (18 December 2017 - 17 January 2018)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am still relatively new to couchsurfing despite being a member back in 2015. My first couchsurfing experience was in Japan during my solo trip and it was awesome. The hospitality from the family was heartwarming and genuine.

In a nutshell, I enjoy meeting new people, exchanging stories and getting to know them.
It is simply, one of the joys in travelling :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Only one? There are many amazing things to share!

Perhaps, a solo trip to Japan - visited bunny island (Okunoshima) and fox village in Miyagi Prefecture.

Another passion of mine would be volunteering. Hence, one of the amazing things would be the memory of building a kitchen in a school (with my school friends) for a small village in Cambodia and teaching one kid simple photography skills. The kid is a pro, without doubt :)
