About Me

Hello, my name is Julian. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area and have travelled extensively all around the world to many different countries, states, and big and small cities. I'm always looking to make new friends and connections, and have a lot of value, skills and experiences to share with my hosts and with the local community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people and sharing my experiences, as well as learning and understanding the stories and experiences of new people with diverse backgrounds. Experiences are the most important parts of life, and so I am seeking to make new friends all around the world. One day, I hope that we can collectively build a global community of sharing, abundance, and sustainable living, where we take care of each other, the planet, and all kinds of diverse life!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to very diverse and broad genre of music, and this also applies to movies as well. I am able to enjoy and listen to most types of music, and love to watch movies on my free time.

I have read hundreds of books and listened to hundreds of audio books, all in mostly non-fiction. Subjects include business and entrepreneurship, psychology, health and nutrition, science, space, technology, parenting and family, education, politics, comedy, sports, self-growth, spirituality, love and more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked on the national road team for the 2020 Presidential Election with Presidential Candidate Andrew Yang, advocating and fighting for human-centered policies and solutions to address large-scale problems and issues in America and around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a very diverse set of skills and experiences in the business world, as a global traveler, activist, and so much more. I consider myself to be a specialized generalist, the type of person who knows a little about a lot, and also knows a lot about specific subjects and fields. This allows me to teach, learn, share, and converse about nearly any topic or subject. I often teach as much as I learn, allowing me to teach and share more with future hosts and friends!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a working professional that prefers a clean bed and extended stays to really immerse myself in the local community and culture. I'm happy to provide some business consultant or advisory services, or provide basic cleaning and assistance to allow for a longer and more mutually beneficial arrangement. Either way, I'm a fun and outgoing individual with lots of cool skills, experiences, and stories to tell. I'm a great listener and conversationalist, and am able to talk about a wide variety of different subjects.
