About Me

Hi! I live in the south of France. Beautiful nature, village and food.
I can show you around when I have free time. Im often going to the Pyrénées (french montain) for hiking. I have a family house there. We can go together if we have a chance.

I lived in Japan 2 and half so far, and I travelled by hichihiking in every prefectures of the country.
I also love Asian countries like Vietnam, Cambodia, South Korea, Taiwan...

Im pretty curious about almost everything and I would love to know your travels stories, local food...

What to see in Albi and around :

The Albi Cathedral Sainte Cécile and its historic center are a must see in Albi. The cathedral is a UNESCO world heritage site.

You can walk to the old bridge ("Pont vieux") which has pretty arches and a lovely view of the river "Le tarn". There is a park below that runs along the river where you can walk in nature and enjoy the views.

Visit the Toulouse Lautrec museum which contains the largest collections of works of this painter from Albi. The museum itself is a magnificent UNESCO-listed building.

You can also enjoy shopping and nice french coffee and tea shop.
Starbucks is open everyday. There is also the coffee called "french coffee shop".

Around Albi: you can visit the medieval village of Cordes sur ciel. From Albi station you can take buses that take you there in 30 minutes. I can give you the bus schedule if you need. Its very cheap (~2e). It is a village which has been chosen as one of the most beautiful in France. If I have time it is possible to go there together with my car.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is the best way to travel today. Meeting people, have the chance to be in their daily lives, see what is the local culture, discover secret places, different personalities and stories... It's so much more interesting and fun than staying in a hotel!

Interests

I love nature. I like spending time in the forest, hiking in the mountains or camping.
I have always loved being in contact with animals and observing them from afar in their natural environment. Australia was a great trip! camping by the sea, meeting wild kangaroos... What an experience!
I like spending time at the local market when Im travelling in a country, discovering and going to places where the locals go.

Onsen (japanese hot bath) and temples are the best !
