About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Wondering if anyone really wants to visit Central Maine!

ABOUT ME

I am energetic, hardworking, good sense of humor and adventure.

And now someone rightfully suggested that I put a few more details about myself on my profile page-- so I will. Hmmm-- what can be said about me?

I am a highly creative person and that probably best defines my character. Most of my creativity is expended in the theatre. I am a playwright, actor, director and teacher.

I am down to earth, too-- I know that often we think of creative people being really out there with no earthly skills-- but I was brought up pretty well-grounded with a strong work ethic-- so that makes my creative dreams become a reality.

I am very open-minded and free spirited. I like living simply. A couple of years ago I looked around me and saw a lot of material stuff around me-- so I went on a housecleaning and got rid of a lot of that stuff. I like being able to move quickly when the forces of conventionalism attack. I own a car-- bought it new and paid it off but really don't enjoy driving to get places-- sadly where I live there is no public transportation and distances to work, groceries, etc. require transportation. I long to live in a place with public transportation!

I'll think of more to say and add more-- is there a blog section on this profile? Once I get going I can talk about myself forever . . . .

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a banquet-- DIG IN!

Inhabit the moment!

Be a worthwhile person.
Do worthwhile things.

"Great spirits have often encountered opposition from mediocre minds." Einstein.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many things have really amazed me in life-- but I can't think of one right now-- yes that's a cop out-- but life is amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Like to explore museums, hiking trails, cities.

I am an hours drive to the beautiful, rocky coast of Maine. A few miles from Mountains & hiking trails. 90 minutes to Portland, 20 minutes to Augusta (state Capital), 45 minutes to Bangor. Off the coast are cruises, a ferry that goes to Nova Scotia, Canada. You can go on whale watching boats and fishing boats. I would gladly host any of these adventures if I am available. I am about 31/2 hours from Boston. There is a train out of Portland that takes you right to Boston-- I use it often.

There is also skiing nearby during the winter-- I don't ski but think it's cool if you do!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
