Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not through Couchsurfing yet, but I've been a host to many travelers, mostly from Germany and I have visited them many times as we have become ecxellent friends.
Interests
Meeting and learning from people and embracing diversity. I am an educator, but first I am human, therefore a brother and then a teacher that seeks everlasting knowledge to help make each day a wonderful day for you, for me; for them, for us.

Music, Movies, and Books
ALL
Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Sartre, Tolstoy, Neruda, Hemingway and His Holiness the Dalai Lama ROCK!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first grade students were learning a typical Mexican folkloric dance and when the instructor cancelled, I took upon the chore and I even put on a big skirt (on top of my pants) and made up some moves and the dance was successful. I spent eight summers living in a van as I went to work with migrat farm workers in Northern California. I learn that one does not need anything else other than your very basics.
Teach, Learn, Share
I make bracelets and necklaces with my students and I've gotten kind of good at it! I have many years experience as a cook as well. I have an extensive library and I am always promoting reading and giving books away.
