Heeey future friends! I'm Kaitlin! I'm 29 and currently live in NJ. I love to travel and meet people from all over the world (which is why I'm on Couchsurfing!) Some of my passions include photography, running/working out, watching sunsets, spending time outdoors, movies, and the beach. I work in food service & childcare at the moment, but my dream job would probably be to work for National Geographic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm eager to have really meaningful experiences when I travel as opposed to superficial ones. So for me, that means getting to know as many locals as I can and experiencing a new city with new friends from all over the world. I've met some amazing people through this website and hope to continue to do so!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Mumford & Sons, All Time Low, Bon Iver, Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers, Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, The Lumineers, and lots more. Pretty much open to all music styles & bonus points if it's something I enjoy singing to.

Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Singin in the Rain, Some Like it Hot, Dunkirk (and most Chris Nolan movies), Pirates of the Caribbean (and anything w/ Johnny Depp), Harry Potter, Indiana Jones (and other Speilberg adventure films), Amelie, Hocus Pocus.... I'm a huge movie lover overall!

Books: The Great Gatsby, Untamed, Little Women. In general I love to read non-fiction/memoirs. When I do read fiction, it's usually old-school stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went 'boarding' down an active volcano on my 23rd birthday in Nicaragua...and got the fastest speed of the day!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My laughter and smile and some good conversations! Also usually candy or your favorite kind of sweets (besides that, I mainly eat super healthy). I always travel with my camera and love to take and edit photos for people as well!
