Hawaiian, born in Queens...hospital, not the borough. Paddled a rickety outrigger through a hurricane, camped in a Japanese WWII bunker, slept in an abandoned VW van, jogged thru a herd of deer, tripped over a bobcat, ate a dog, thrown by a horse, nearly stepped on a rattlesnake, swarmed by bees.
