About Me
Hi / Hallo! When I am not travelling I mostly live in the mountains in France. I am a German and I work as an anthropologist and peacebuilder in development cooperation, but also as a coach and trainer, e.g. with refugees.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As an anthropologist I love to travel and to meet people in foreign countries and to discover how they live, feel and think. So I like to be with local people and to have rich exchanges. It is one of my ways to foster peace, understanding and oneness in the world, by respecting local identities and cultures at the same time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
many nice encounters with strong and engaged people (change agents) during my work in Africa and Asia, especially in local communities.
Teach, Learn, Share
telling you about participatory approaches in modern development partnerships; or about culturally adapted trauma-work as an important process for sustainable peacebuilding and many more issues...;-)
