About Me

Hi there ! It's been a while I've not filled in my profile page. I'm living in Arras, France and I'm looking for meeting new people. I can give passing travelers a shelter for a few nights. I'd like to give opportunities in my life to share tales and a good moment with people from elsewhere, and I believe Courchsurfing will drive me through these possibilities ^^ I'm a nice 25-old teacher, half-time working at a secondary school, half-time studying didactic sciences and teen pedagogy.
I spend most of my spare time as a Scout leader in a cheerful Scout group.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I subscribed to Couchsurfing while I was living in Champaign-Urbana, IL, USA. Why? Once I arrived in that campus city, I realized a lot of foreigners lived there. Not only students, but also workers and teachers, most people did not grow up inside the state of illinois (Indians and Chineses were really common on the campus. I also met Swedish students, even my housemates and landlords were German...). Then I told myself : "I'm not the only foreign visitor, why should I not welcome people like me, who are new in town?"...

I thought about the same idea when I moved to Berlin, Germany, but the landlady did not allow me to invite unknown strangers (and I couldn't let them sneak in for she was living on the same flat).

I hope I could quickly get a new accommodation soon, so I'll be able to put up visitors and great travellers who can make my day a bit more peculiar.
