About Me

Not french, born and raised in Patagonia! s2

For the last few years, photography has been a pretty important part of my life: Instagram.com/katehuen :)

I haven't updated this in a fairly long time. Perhaps I like other bands now, I have seen better movies and I find some little things here or there rather dumb. But hey, it's been a while, it's a good thing to change a bit from time to time!

ABOUT ME

(This section is kinda ridiculous, just go to References..)

I think I would describe myself as a simple guy who strives to get the most of this life we all are so fortunate to have. Simply trying to get the juice of it, collect memories and experiences which are the only things that ALWAYS stay with me. I enjoy thinking about whatever it comes to my mind, having crazy unrealistic plans, going in an adventure, facing unnecessary fears and traveling. I-fuckin'-love-traveling. It just completes me. oh.. i'm 100% cat person xD

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the beginning, only joining a great group of people from a lot of different places to play Ultimate Frisbee in palermo's parks, Buenos Aires.. and then, one time, CS changed completely one trip I had.. lots of new friends and new experiences came into the equation ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

-Shared a house with CSurfers for a few years ;)-Traveled across Europe/Canada/US/Egypt with CS-Hosted several times in BA & Paris, when college allowed me :( plus some coffees, slack and skating days in bsas

Interests

traveling, nature, sports, music, science, languages, food, mountains, people, flying, cats, technology, raspberries, adventure, thinking, talking, heights, rhockey, slacklining, skydiving, physics, climbing, oceans, skating, challenges, sarcasm, exploring, fridays, chocolate, skiing, movies..

PHILOSOPHY

oh.. this might be the place to copy a few nice quotes I read somwhere.. they say pretty much the way I see life:)
-The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person's determination
-Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue.
-It's better to take the chance and screw up than to not take the chance and regret.
-Never play leap frog with a unicorn
-Things worth having are worth waiting for
-Every great achievement was once considered impossible.
-Don't take life too serious. You'll never escape it alive anyway.
-If you think you`re too small to make a difference you haven't been in a bed with a mosquito..
-In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away
-If you don't make mistakes, you aren't really trying.
-You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
-The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary.
-Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about.
-‪If life doesn't go right, go left

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've run an adventure race! 45km of running as fast as you can, up in the mountains, is something quite intense.. (Not being able to walk the week after that too xD )

Sziget Festival was cool, at least for the first time

Jumping from an airplane over the sea was pretty amazing too

The first time I passed the whole night walking in the catacombs of Paris.. that was exciting!

Going into the sea at midnight with photoluminescent plankton.. this one goes for the category "Yet One Amazing Thing Nature Has Done" actually

Teach, Learn, Share
