ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from Swarthmore College and now I'm working as an English teaching assistant in Linz, Austria. I majored in Latin and minored in German and Ancient Greek and I would really like to improve my French and Finnish.

I'm interested in meeting new people and I love to discuss current events and politics. I'm usually up for exploring all types of things and I'm pretty adventurous when it comes to outdoor adventures and food. If anyone knows of good opportunities to practice yoga, please let me know!

I'm pretty nerdy and I love collecting old books. I'm also a very enthusiastic (and, at least I think, a good) cook. My friends usually look to me for spontaneous fun and for an energetic Karaoke duet. I'm also gay and I try to welcome all types of people, especially LGBTQ people.

I am very new to this, but I love the idea behind Couchsurfing. I would like to use the forum to find interesting people to meet, host, be hosted by, and cook with. I'm brand new in Linz, so I hope to make some new friends and share some adventures with awesome people!

I have very little experience, but from the little I have, I'm definitely excited to surf and host more.
