About Me

I'm off on a new adventure. I moved back to Port Elizabeth, South Africa 3 years' ago to do leather work and start a business. It's been a lovely challenge and I'm proud of the work I've been able to do. Now, I'm looking for new prospects, moving back into the employment market and in a city I don't know: Dublin.

I lived in Paris from 2010 to 2014, except for a quick 6 month stay in Bordeaux - yet another adventure, and I love wine.

I love reading, theatre, music and the arts as well as meeting new people, learning new cultures and attempting to learn new languages.

PHILOSOPHY

Live. Love. Learn. That is all there is to it. Follow your gut; do what is right and respect!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, my living conditions are a bit precarious, however, I am always eager to meet new people and discover new places with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So, I meet via CS someone from Mexico in a café passing through Paris who was coming to South Africa for the Soccer World Cup in 2010. At that stage, I was still living t
In SA and I decided to give him my contact details and figured,"why not?" Anyway, we ended up backpacking for a week together and I got to see South Africa like never before. We did 1500kms of incredible landscapes and places, and practically never knew each other at the start. Voilà. My first kinda CS experience.

Interests

Oh gosh. this is a long list. I am bit off-beat and like loads of things. From the opera to cooking. I enjoy nature particularly having grown up in South Africa and have a particular passion for languages, learning and people.

Teach, Learn, Share

Always have comfortable, quality shoes adapted to your situation. If your feet are not comfortable, you will not be comfortable.

I have a passion for teaching and I can teach French language and culture. I can also share my leather skills if there is a spot to work. I'm helpful around the house and I make good company. I love a good conversation.
