About Me

I'm an adventure loving individual. I enjoy traveling and exploring new areas - from checking out music at a local dive, eating my way around a new town, or navigating backcountry steeps. Adventures are best taken as they come and I'm not one to overplan, I enjoy a crazy night out or a good night in just the same.

When I'm not bartending or instructing skiing, I'm typically getting out and enjoying the outdoors around me. If you're looking to get after it and explore, we'll probably be able to find something to do together - ski, climb, bike, hike, paddle. If you don't like those, we can cook a meal, play some groovy tunes, and drink good beer and wine. If we don't have anything in common there, then it's not working out, but don't worry it's not you, it's me.

I'm open to staying with people or having people stay with me even if our schedules don't line up to spend any time together. We're all busy humans, surfing is even better when we get to share time together, but it doesn't always work out. In this way, I still contribute to the CS community and appreciate the reciprocity from a host in the same position.

Background:
I grew up in the burbs of Detroit, Michigan where I began exploring some of my passions like skiing, mountain biking, kayaking and climbing that have since brought me westward to Telluride, Colorado. I spent two years working out of college in the Metro-Detroit and Ann Arbor area where I developed a love for the city of Detroit and being a part of its' resurgence. During this time I explored more of the beautiful state I grew up in - love the U.P. (How Michiganders refer to the Upper Peninsula). As my adventures grew I knew I needed to be in the mountains and picked up and left the city and corporate job behind in November of 2015.
