About Me

Hej hej! 👋😃

I’m a Danish guy living in Copenhagen, but I’ve spent countless years living elsewhere in the world, and possess a strong international mindset.

I like to travel and especially hike 🥾 🏔️ and enjoy nature 🌅.

I am looking forward to exploring Australia 🇦🇺 and New Zealand 🇳🇿 in the coming months and hope to meet some fantastic people along the way ☺️.

I love (cooking) food, good wine and craft beer, great vibes and smiles, board games, long and late conversations and would like to host and meet people who are passionate about some element of their lives.

Weekends are often spend exploring what the city has to offer, on foot or my bike, maybe going for some great food and a sauna in Christiania, or an art exhibition, wine and cooking, and maybe going out for dancing and fun times.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have an international mindset and I’m always looking to meet new people, learn something new, share good energy, nice experiences and fun times in the company of great people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music 🎶: I have a very wide taste of music, and I’m a sucker for live concerts. I build my own guitars 🎸

Movies 🎥: I’m coorganizer of Copenhagen Cinema Club and love a good movie. I have a weak spot for Sofia Coppola’s “Lost in Translation”, because it captures the feeling of traveling alone and being in a new unfamiliar place, and connecting with someone, however briefly it might be.

“District 9” is also a favorite of mine.

Books 📚:
Haruki Murakami 🫠

In the non-fiction genre, books on self development and understanding and coping with different attachment styles and patterns in relationships.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many things. But having tried a sweat hut ceremony with Lakota native Americans is very high on the list.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know Copenhagen like my own pocket and is happy to share my knowledge of how to experience the offerings of the city like a local.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a host, I can share cooking (together), tour the city of Copenhagen, bike around, watch movies, talk until late and too much : )

As a surfer, I can share cooking (together), great interesting and passionate company, laughs and good times.
