ABOUT ME

I love my life! I am fortunate to have created a life I love where business, travel, and freedom are all part of my program. I design handmade clothing and jewelry with artisans in Thailand and Indonesia then sell it at festivals in Colorado all summer long. I love adventure, art, gourmet food, nature, yoga, rock climbing, meditation, and connecting with interesting people. Small talk is not my forte. I am curious about people and different lifestyles and love to learn about different cultures. I have travelled to many countries and have had the good fortune to have made very good friends everywhere I go.

Treat others with love and kindness, open your heart to everyone, try to judge no one, and the world will be a beautiful place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has given me some of my greatest travel experiences. To instantly connect with someone in their own country, to have the joy of sharing a meal, a conversation or an adventure, for me has been absolutely wonderful!

I host and I surf. I finally have a place where I can host again, and I love to meet new people. I welcome you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my experience of hosting and surfing have been great. I have been so fortunate and I want to return the opportunity to anyone who is open, flexible, and willing to share themselves in my home.

Interests

Nature is my home, and living in Colorado, I have the joy of having the Rocky Mountains as my gym. I find my center when I am in Nature. My boyfriend has a 4x4 jeep, so we can access very remote areas of the mountains and be able to camp and hike anywhere.

I also love the benefits of yoga, for my mind and for my body.

I am a mad cook as well. Know that if you stay with me, I will want to cook for you. I want to cook for everyone!! We have wonderful fresh, organic produce in my area and I love getting creative in the kitchen.

Feel like rock climbing? Come with me to the gym and we can play! If you want to do it outdoors, I fortunately live with two badass rock climbers who just might take us all out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I found riding on an elephant though this little village in Thailand to be very interesting. Not so much that everything we were seeing was so different and primitive, but that no one even noticed or cared to look up as we were walking through. Can you imagine someone coming by on an elephant in front of your house?

Teach, Learn, Share

I Understand that my mind is the creator of everything. If I am ever not happy about something, I just ask myself...what are you creating here? I know that thoughts are things, that I create what I think about. So I am very mindful about what I let my mind ponder. I try to focus on the things I want, instead of what I don't want, and I try to be gentle with myself and others because I believe we are all doing the very best we can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My town is unparalleled. You could literally hike and take an adventure in a new place every day of your life. We can hike (summer), ski (Winter), Paint (anytime), visit farmers markets, go to festivals, etc. There is so much to do. Do you like to dance? We have amazing ecstatic dances, contact improve, tons of yoga and more.. There is no end to the adventures we could have. My partner and I also can take you on an off road jeep trail.
