About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To develop through meeting people

ABOUT ME

I am 58 at the time of writing although in my head I am about 30 I think! I travelled a lot in my earlier life and I have slowed down a little now. When I have free time, I like to spend time in the little garden we have. We've just moved homes so it's in the design phase at the moment, I love to cook Turkish and East European food, travel, languages, get into nature - no massive hikes in the hills, but gentle walks - if you get my drift. I like a simple life but I like quality too. Very interested in English and East European history and I love sharing my passion for that with folks. Also, very interested in politics, psychology, travel and so forth.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that the greatest education is talking to people, I believe everyone is entitled to respect and I accept all people who do not cause harm or want to harm others. Treat others as you would be done by.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN

Following work in Saudi Arabia, I have entered semi-retirement in rural Bulgaria so there's not much demand for a couch out here but I'm still incredibly enthusiastic about the idea of knowing people and thus knowing the world.
