CURRENT MISSION

Continue to travel and explore and learn about all cultures. Building community in my hometown and surprising myself with awesome new twists and turns every chance I get. Being a YES person has been rewarding.

ABOUT ME

Very open-minded, goofy and down to earth. I don't like drama, and I am the pacifier in tough situations. I'm rarely shocked and an easy travel buddy. I try to find the humor in everything and don't take things too seriously. I feel that everything works out in the end, and the Universe works in mysteriously awesome ways. I'd rather be active and exploring than on the couch. Always looking for more understanding, connection and commonalities between cultures. I believe we are all equals and should have each other's back whenever possible. I want to experience it all, with grace.

Listen. Embrace. Support. Respect. Be kind. I believe people are good and can all shine, given the patience and opportunity. Go with the flow, because something amazing is always happening just around the corner.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing and hosting since my journey began in China-2007. The world would be so much more foreign without this wonderful network! So grateful for CS. Exploring, worldly, open-minded, curious, and hospitable people are my people, so I love this community and the inspiration and warmth it offers. I am indefinitely infected with the travel bug, for sure. I began by surfing in Shanghai, and then was able to host a bit there once I was set up and teaching English. CS has supported me all around the world. I try to host when possible!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All positives, luckily! I try to do whatever i can to accommodate my host/guest and make it an awesome and memorable experience.

Spontaneity, RAKs (random acts of kindness will make my day), soaking in other cultures, laughing, making music&picking up new instruments any chance I get, discovering new bands, practicing yoga, dance of every kind, volunteering, thrifting, rollerblading, biking, nature, public transportation, riding my scooter, sarcasm, humility, photography, sewing, coffee, craft beer, less small talk, concocting new recipes, Ethnic food/dance, etc.

Simply: Happiness in any form. Shared laughter. I am open to everything and appreciate any new joys i am not aware of! I'll most likely say YES:) just ask!!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Climbing Mount Sinai at sunrise, paragliding off the Indian coastline in Goa, waking up to a foot of snow in a Mongolian yurt next to a boy trying to mount a yak, hearing Aramaic being sung in a church in Jerusalem, spending the night on the Great Wall of China during a comet shower, riding mopeds around Cambodia & India, witnessing the West Bank, Camel trekking 80 miles from the Pakistani border, rollerblading through Chinese streets, fasting for 7 days on a Thai island....I couldn't pick only one.

Traveling to more countries in a 3 year whirlwind than i can recall in any single moment. What a ride. I can't quite wrap my brain around it, truly.
