ABOUT ME

My name is Larry Miller and I am 69 years old and single. I have been a photographer and studio owner for over 35 years and am currently semi-retired. I enjoy all types of photography especially scenics. I am an avid motorcycle rider and have ridden in almost every state in the United States. I love music of all kinds (except rap) and play the guitar. I have a good reputation in my town. I have served as President of our local Rotary club, and I was President of the Tennessee Professional Photographers Association. I consider myself to be of high character. I do not smoke, drink, or use profanity. I enjoy meeting people from different countries. Recently I hosted a young female from Australia who was on her last leg of a year long journey. We got along splendily and I helped her achieve her goals of living like Dolly Paton and recording one of Dolly's songs in a recording studio. To see, Google, 30days30years.

Music, Movies, and Books

What do you like to watch, read, and listen to? I like Blues, Jazz, I watch CNN, Fox News, The History Channel. I am reading "Life" by Keith Richards. I like Western Movies such as Lonesom Dove, Missouri Breaks, The Appaloosa. I found the current movie, "The Help" to be very enjoyable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Share a story of something that really struck you. i just hosted for 3 days a young girl from Australia that is on her last leg of a one year trip. She ran a marathon on the great wall of China, learned to train Eagles to hunt in Mongolia, Worked on a Pear Diving ship in Western Australia, learned to make cheese in Noraway. She came to Sevier County to learn about Dolly Parton. I helped her find out more by showing her all the places Dolly lived. She wanted to record a Dolly song in a real recording studio. My friend is a muscian and has a studio, so we helped her record Jolene and put it on a CD for her. I also did a phto shoot for her dressed in Dolly type clothing, Dolly poses.

What kinds of skills or information could you share with someone? What would you like to learn? I could share my photography skills including post photo enhancement on the computer.

I have a guest room with private bath, shower. The room and bath are very private.
