About Me

I am very passionate about my city, my country and my culture. I've always lived in urban enviorments, but tried to travel among coutryside and other "quieter" places.
I've always tought this "about me" profiles are really hard to fill... I think Im a regular, nice, talkative person who has somethings to learn and somthings to share.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a mexican sociology student who is doing a semester abroad in Nagoya University in autum 2016. This will be my first time traveling abroad and I am extremely nervous and exited. Thats all, Im here cause I want to meet locals in Japan who can give me some advice and show me arround.

Interests

I do like to walk a lot, so if you want to get to know the city by foot Im good company. Also, for some reason I really enjoy grocery shopping (wich is weird because I dont even enjoy cookin that much)... Mexican markets are amazing and are a crucial part of our culture, so I enjoy visiting those vibrant places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I dont really know why, but I only (mostly) listen to music in spanish. Maybe I feel more conected to it? I dont know. Anyway... I love Kevin Johansen, Fito paez, Jarabe de palo and that kind of artists. Also I enjoy to dance, so mexican Son Jarocho, Salsa and Cumbia are a great choise too.

My favorite autor is José Saramago, but I havent read his books in a while. Since college I am much more into etnographic studies, and I enjoy to read them a lot. I am always descovering new films, and I like most of them

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once fell awfully of an aerial silk and did not die. Pretty awsome hugh?

Teach, Learn, Share

To teach, learn and share is a process.. lets meet and we can do it in person. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

My relativley deep knowledge of mexican culture, and my relativley deep underestanding of sociology, wich can be a good mix. Also, my capacity to travel cheap and light... So if you are traveling on a budget, I might be good company.
