About Me

CURRENT MISSION

see the world before I die....

ABOUT ME

Like a true Gemini, I am all over the place. One of my passions is YOGA - live and breathe it AND now teaching it!! HOw else do I keep busy? I like to read magazines or do puzzles - newest one I love is Paint by Numbers...check them out. I like to explore my spirituality and to see all there is in our big wide world. I love to dance. I like to google everything, including me. I like to play trivia. Yeah so I do nerdy things but that's okay, better to keep my mind busy then to let it be bored to plan out devious things...muahahhaha :)
P E R S O N A L I T Y...playful and serious, innocent and not, intelligent and flighty, shy and extroverted, sweet and bitchy, deviant and traditional, tolerant and judgmental, honest and a storyteller, imaginative and a recycler of thoughts.
I can't describe me, and others, depending on who they are might have different impressions of me. I am really a true Gemini in that I can switch, no control from me, into different facets of my personality...i guess I am just quirky...that word pretty much sums it up.

And since joining CS, I do have a little girl now so I'm a little more selective now on who I host. Unless you are established on here, I might not take a newbie like I did in the old days. Sorry but I have to be a good parent.

PHILOSOPHY

deeply spiritual, free spirit, truly believes good deeds can change the world

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

***not sure why reply is Only 96%, as i always reply - please tell me CS!!!!***I'm interested in making the big wide world even smaller (for me). I have donated to the CS project, so I can say I have participated financially. I believe in collective energy changing the world. I have attended and hosted local events and met a lot of great people. I have become more seasoned in being a hostess! And finally I have been introduced to Couchcrashes...they're a blast!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Attended many local CS events. My very first person to stay pulled an AWOL, but that didn't stop me! I am glad I didn't because the next person that did stay is one of those "I'm so glad I met him" type of people. I have enjoyed meeting all the various surfers that stop by for spell in good ol' Stamford!
Now I'm further up the pike but still have met some great people hosting. My newest CS pet peeve though is when you change your plans and don't tell me (esp. larger parties.) Quite a few times lately, I had groups of 3 or 5 plan on staying and do a no show. I buy food for you guys...don't do that!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

WOODSTOCK 99...power of the people...

That's the briefest of synopsises I can give. There is a long story attached to the statement, too long for here. Just say the universe took me to great places like I was in USA Today, Syracuse something, Boston Globe for just starting out with one little itty bitty idea. WOW! It's nice to have WOW moments in your life.

Teach, Learn, Share

well besides being a teacher (in which I truly know I am always the student) I can do other little things I picked up on the way.

I am always happy to help someone deepen their yoga practice. I also practice reiki and am usually willing to do a treatment. Other than that, I can be the bartendress extradinaire, but just don't ask me to partake.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great food!!!
