About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To continue being adventurous

ABOUT ME

I've always loved to travel, but since studying abroad at the Danish School of Media and Journalism, I've developed a huge travel bug. I'm fascinated by Europe and got to visit seven different countries and 9 different cities during the semester. I'm a bit of a thrill junkie and love to go on adventures. I've tried skydiving, caving, snorkeling, ziplining, high-lining, zorbing, etc. I love music festivals. Bonnaroo is a big deal in my hometown.
I enjoy trying new things and experiencing different cultures. I've had really good experiences couch surfing so far and I look forward to many more.

PHILOSOPHY

Try anything twice! Experience life to the fullest, but always stay true to who you are and your values.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf. My place is a bit too crowded for hosting right now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted once before in my tiny dorm, and it was a great experience.

I have also surfed in Oslo while enduring a 2 day Ryanair layover. It was really nice, he showed my friend and I around the city of Oslo.

I also surfed in Aalborg once while filming a documentary. She was so helpful, fixed us breakfast and even drove us out to the family we were filming.

My latest surf was in Valparaiso, Chile with a group of hosts from all over. What a party!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

DONE: This time last year I couldn't even run 2 miles straight. Now I'm running half marathons! Well, I signed up for a trail run without knowing what I was getting into. 11 miles of hills that went straight up through sticker bushes, mud, creeks, and roots, turning ankles with just about every other step. At points it was impossible to run- more like a power hike. This was by far the hardest thing I've ever done, and I'm so proud of myself... but NEVER again. I'm staying away from long distance trails! St. Jude's Country Music Half Marathon was a really BIG moment for me. I have never experienced anything like it. If you haven't run a half yet... do it! The adrenaline and the amazing people around you is enough motivation to get you through alone. We ran this in a rain storm!

SEEN: Hopping the Greek Islands over Easter week! #Beautiful
