I'm Lea, originally from Hamburg and currently living in Lüneburg, Germany.
I've had this account since 2017, but haven't really used it much, until now!!
I love traveling, meeting new people on the road and sharing each other's stories and cultures! So I hope you can tell me a little bit about you and your life. :)

So far I've traveled to quite a few countries in Europe and some others as well! Most of my life I have lived in Germany, but I also stayed in Seoul, South Korea, for two years. One year for doing voluntary work and one year with the working holiday visa.
I'm planning to see much more of the world and will probably stay in Canada for a while from February 2024.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting people from different countries/ cultures and spending some time together, especially while traveling. I'm not sure if I can host someone, since my appartment is quite small, but maybe we could hang out somewhere. :)

Interests

First of all, I love traveling and meeting new people. I enjoy experiencing different cultures, learning languages and just walking and getting lost in foreign countries sometimes.
I also listen to music a lot! I like many different genres and songs in different languages as well! Recently I went to quite a few concerts, so if we like the same artist, maybe we could go together? :)
I also like art and enjoy drawing and crafting things (like knitting, crocheting for example) even though I'm not super good at it! haha
Some other things I like include: animals, nature, food (especially icecream), markets, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of my most interesting trips so far was in Jordan. I met some really kind people randomly on the street, was invited to their house for dinner and introduced to their friends and family. Experiences like that are definitely my favorite kind. :)
