Hello! My name is Leonie and I'm from Germany. This year I finished school with a general qualification for university entrance. Because it always was my dream to learn a new language, I decided to spend some time abroad. Thats the reason why I am now here in France. Since August I am now in Nord-Pas-de-Calais and work as a volunteer in a Arche for handicapped people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually I am on Couchsurfing because I want to save money. But I am a big fan of meeting new people and getting new inspirations from others. Also it's a pretty cool possibility to improve my French!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I adore the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Mumford and Sons, the Kooks...etc. But I am also listen to french music like Tryo or alot of german stuff!
Movies: I am a big fan of Harry Potter and The Hungergames, also I like to watch series like Homeland, Game of Thrones, Gossip Girl, Pretty little Liars and so on :D
Books: I like german Thrillers, but also stuff like Harry Potter and the Hungergames... If I read the back of the book and I like it I am probably going to read it, so I don't really have a special taste in books, it depends on my mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't really know if this is something amazing, but with 16 I already was in Australia and New Zealand without my parents it it was pretty cool!!! Thats also probably the reason why I love to travel!
