have recently semi retired but do not want to slow my life down. My partner, Glenn also recently retired and has a website Thriveafter50.com. He is also a wonderful photographer and wants to share his passion and skill with the world. Our goal is to live life to the fullest and to encourage others to do the same. We began our journeys in October traveling in an RV. We are an energetic, healthy and passionate 60+ couple who are looking to make friends, see the world, and live life to the fullest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My partner and I are beginning our travels and are venturing to Costa Rica and Nicaragua for starters. We will then travel the western states of the US before returning to Michigan for the summer. This seems like a way to help expenses, but also to get to know people in other parts of the world.

Interests

My interests are decorating and organizing, dancing, sports and art. Glenn's is fitness and photography.

Music, Movies, and Books

Country music tops my chart, but the oldies have a special place in both our hearts. We also enjoy many other genre. A good movie, whatever the type interests us. As for books, I'm a romantic and Glenn likes inspirational and self help non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have not seen much of the world outside of the US except for some of my travels during the years I was an export manager for a stainless steel company. Glenn is showing me the world. He has been many places and has taken some fantastic photos to share. At the current time we are both working for Amazon as Camperforce employees for their peak season. We wanted to experience it since we had read about it. Since we were traveling in our RV, why not! It has been an interesting experience and have met some great people.
