ABOUT ME

I am an easy going person, that loves to just have fun and meet new people. I love being social but also love just going for long hikes just me and my dogs.

PHILOSOPHY

You can't change the wind . . .
But you can adjust the sail . . .
I have this tattooed on my feet, it means quite a bit to me. Don't stress about things that are out of your control. Everything happens for a reason to teach you a lesson and to make you a stronger person so be thankful that it happened because it happened for a reason. "Life isn't about surviving the storm, but learning how to dance in the rain" Try to enjoy every minute of life no matter what kind of storm you are enduring. I also believe in karma so you need to treat people the way you want to be treated!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been involved with couch surfing in a while but looking to host people again in my new home Grande Prairie, AB.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A couple of my friends have had good experiences and referred me to this website. So far I have hosted a few people when I lived in Thunder Bay and it was great to meet some cool people and had fun times with them and learned some new things.

Seeing Pipeline in Hawaii was one of the coolest things I have seen yet I think, but so much more out there to see!

I really want to learn how to play a steel drum! I have purchased one but it is tough to find someone in thunder bay that is educated in playing it.
As for what I have to offer, I will be able to give you a very Canadian experience while you are on my couch with some hints of Finnish culture because it was prevalent growing up in home.
Also I used to not like dogs, but now I am a huge lover of dogs!
