About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to smile as often as I can. Learn as much as I can. And experience life, love and culture all around this world!

ABOUT ME

I am life long learner, eager to explore, and curious of the world around us all. I've been described as a free spirit, young at heart and easygoing. I find it easy to make connections with others and am quick to do so as there's always a reason we meet! Looking forward to meeting you!

PHILOSOPHY

For love and travel, that is all I need in this life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences with Couchsurfing have always been nothing but the best! I have had the pleasure of hosting one Couchsurfer so far and thoroughly enjoyed showing her around town and sharing great meals with her. While traveling with my husband throughout New Zealand, we stayed with 3 gracious hosts and loved them all!

Interests

Travel, writing, flying planes, photography, music, good wine, unforgettable food, compelling conversations with friends, dancing the night away, outdoor experiences, and much more!

Music, Movies, and Books

Lately, I've been divulging in anything that has to do with our current food system; including agriculture, permaculture, farming, and how our health is tied to our food. Whether they are in the form of TEDtalks, documentaries, books, articles or blog posts, I'm keen to learn as much as I can about our source of life!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a month long trip down Baja California Mexico, I met some incredible people who left me with memorable experiences. In Ojo de Liebre I climbed into a small boat and braved the rough waters of a lagoon to drift alongside a gray whale. At fifty feet long, the encounter with these gentle giants was surreal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have knowledge and skills in writing, marketing, social media, permaculture, and sustainable living. I'm always open to learning more about those passions and other cultures.
