Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've done a fair amount of couchsurfing while backpacking through Europe after a semester in Sweden. Lately I haven't been too involved in the local CS community but I've been to a few events, and hosted a couple times in Vancouver. Currently in Edmonton, AB for grad school.

Amazing! I have been met with unbelievable hospitality everywhere I've been, and have made great friends along the way.

Interests

Experiencing new places like a local, being spontaneous and enjoying the simple things.

Meeting people from all over the world and learning about different cultures and ways of thought.

I love being in nature, hiking or whatever. I paint and sketch every now and then, and love trying new crafts. I grew up playing all sorts of sports and like to think of myself as pretty athletic.

I'm a fan of almost all types of music and I love going to live shows! I have a great respect for musicians, probably stemming from my stage fright when I used to play piano.
