About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring amazing wonders in South-East Asia.

ABOUT ME

I'm Liza, I love to laugh, talk, eat, walk around the streets and generally enjoy being outside in the sunshine (though hard to find sometimes in autumn/winter- hiding behind the rain I guess). I'm always up for meeting new people and seeing new sights.

PHILOSOPHY

You can only waste time if you forget to enjoy it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By hosting and surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only once, but couchsurfing in Stockholm was so much fun! Also, I was a host when I still had a room in Amsterdam. Might host again next year when I'll be living in London - so keep yourself posted.

Music, Movies, and Books

(Okay.. this perhaps needs a little update)
I always love listening to Mumford & Sons, Ellie Goulding, Lucy Rose, Eddie Vedder, The Tallest Man on Earth, Maria Mena, I am Oak, but basically I'm up for anything really.
I could keep watching and dream about Into the Wild, Pride & Prejudice, La vita e Bella and even talk about We need to talk about Kevin for ages.
My best reads thus far have been Into the Wild, The Color Purple, The Kite Runner, and Brave New World is on my to-read list at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My happiest moment so far was during my exchange semester in Montreal, when we rented a chalet at the side of a lake in the depths of Quebec with 24 friends for Thanksgiving. Good food, good company: definitely a weekend to remember.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Awesome Dutch words, a lot of smiles and travelling stories.
