ABOUT ME

Hello everyone! My name is Logan and I have just graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul Minnesota, USA. One of my biggest passions has been traveling to anywhere and everywhere I have had the opportunity to. Some of the places I have been include, Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic, France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Italy, and most recently Uganda.
From 20 May to 10 June my brother and I will be traveling from Lima, Peru all the way down Chile to Punta Arenas and back again to fly home.

Last June my friend Adam and I took a trip around Europe. He had heard about CS from a couple of Finish girls he met in Germany last January. We both were really interested in joining the CS community to save a few bucks while traveling and more importantly to meet new and exciting people from all over the world.

Without a doubt the most memorable aspect of our trip was our couch surfing experiences. Couchsurfing has allowed me to see our world in a whole new light. Despite all our differences we are all alike in so many ways!

Needless to say that for my trip through Peru and Chile I would be really sad if I didn't get a change to meet more great CS members.

Since Adam went and go married,tear :*(, I had to find a new travel buddy. My brother Alex just graduated from college as well (he was on the 4 year plan, and I the 5!) wasn't doing anything during the first part of his summer and he actually decided to be adventurous with his life and tag alone!!! My brother Alex and I are both extremely easing going people and would appreciate any accommodations you could provide us with! Even if its just meeting up for a bit to say hello!

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life in a way so unique and ridiculous that went I am old and in a rocking chair with my grandchildren I will laugh at myself saying, "wow, I can't believe I did that. But I am sure glad I did."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am relatively new to the CS community having only surfed other peoples couches. I have not had to the opportunity to host since I was studying in school and that took up most of my time. I look forward to the time when I have my own place and can host but for now I will enjoying surfing myself!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Me and a friend (Adam) went couchsurfing in Germany and in Hungary. It was one of the best experience of my life hands down! I hope I get the chance to surf at least a few couches while in Chile!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Besides couchsurfing, one of the most amazing things I have ever done is go to Uganda. I went there for a school sponsored service trip. The experience I had there with the Ugandan people changed my life. Nowhere else in the world have I found a people more welcoming. Uganda is a beautiful country and I know that someday I will return.
