About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a helpful, friendly and open person. I really enjoy sharing my time with family and friends. One year of studying in the US is ahead of me and I am excited!

Update: The year of studying in the US is happening right now in Albany, NY. Actually, it is coming to an end and in June I will be in Colombia for three weeks before setting for the West Coast of the US and then slowly making my way to Detroit, where I want to be at the beginning of August.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The benefits of Couchsurfing are endless and I have been very fortunate to experience them myself while travelling through New Zealand. Thanks to Couchsurfing I made friends in different parts of the US and got to visit amazing places that haven't been on my radar before (like Charleston, SC, where I spent a week with locals and international and we all met one way or the other through CS).

Interests

I try to get out there and climb/hike/camp as much as I can.
If that is not happening, I love cooking and movies.

When I get to see a new place, I usually check for a cool cinema and a climbing gym and am happy to check these places out!

Music, Movies, and Books

Lord of the Rings is still my favorite, closely follow by Interstellar.
Other favourites are Children of Men, Lost, Arrival and the Shawshank Redemption. And most movies by Christopher Nolan. Recently I started trying to see more smaller/independent movies, so I am super happy about any recommendations!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can call myself lucky because I have been to Scotland and was able to see the beautiful landscapes in the Highlands and Nationalparks. Once we were trekking and found a spot of a river where the water was crystal clear. There we were taking a bath and relaxing in the sun. I will never forget that magnificient place.

Teach, Learn, Share

Always teaching, always being taught.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have been vegan for about two years and I am keen on either exploring some vegan food options in the city or cooking something nice with/for you!

Countries I’ve Visited
