UPDATE:

After 5 months working in the mountains it is finally summer time 🌞 and we are on the road 💥💥💥
We will be exploring Greece and turkey for about 2 months (IT HAS ALREADY BEEN 2 MONTHS 🤣 IT WILL PROBABLY BE 4 😅), a trip we've been waiting for so long and we are veeeery excited about it 🤪😁🤩

FACTS:

CS and hitchhiking are still the BEST ways to travel !! Nothing better than the sensation you feel when someone stops the car just to help you out and maybe then even change their route to show you some nice place, to drop you in a better location or to invite you to their own houses!
The same goes for when someone accepts to host and meet us, sharing their house, their time and stories with us. We love people who really feel the CS the way we do and practice it looking forward to meet and connect with all sorts of people from all over!!
Hitchhiking and couchsurfing we've just met great and interesting people that will always bring us something new and power up our energy to keep going !.

NOW, ABOUT US :)

We are a couple who left our previous and kind of boring lives behind to travel! We are always looking for opportunities to discover new places, meet new people, and to learn and enjoy life!
Together and working as waiters he have lived in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, France, Italy and Uruguay!! Those were amazing experiences where we met so many awesome people and maaany outstanding places. Therefore, we are going for some more!!
Since we started living like this, we feel time has started to pass by more slowly than before. We say it is because of the amount of new experiences and the differents things we do that make us feel like we are " living more".

J: I am a 28 years old Brazilian from the crowded São Paulo. I lived a "normal" life until I was about to graduate. Since then, I have lived in a few different countries and have visited some few more. After all, I am sure leaving my old life behind was the best I've done. I love being outside playing all sorts of sports and games.

L: Uruguayan, 26 years old from Maldonado, near Punta del Este (nobody knows where Maldonado is hahaha)
After 3 years in Law school, I realized that it wasn`t for me. I knew I needed something different, something new. About the same time I met Jose and we realized we share the same desire of travelling and discovering the world so, launched by his previous travelling experiences, I signed up for what is nowadays our lifestyle.
I love the nature and mainly the sea. I really enjoy to chat about everything and music and movies are my passions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are in CS because travelling isn't just about visiting places. It is about learning, communicating and exchanging. By travelling we create connections with cultures and people, we learn more about the world, about others and we learn a lot more about us. Couch surfing gives us all of that In a very unique way making connections that otherwise wouldn't be possible. There are so many people here that really have this spirit of discovering, sharing and connecting that maintain the real purpose of CS alive. That's why we are here - looking forward to connect with people and to contribute in our way with this meaningful way of travelling.
