HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I live in a tiny, VERY spartan 20qm studio right now - I don't spend my salary on rent. So I can't host surfers with good conscience, at least not those who expect basic human comforts (and I mean basic). I'm always there to help though, to accompany you on a hiking trip, drive you to your next destination, share a coffee and local knowledge, emergency psychological counseling and such...
I also have a nice apartment downtown Munich, which I use over the weekends. I don't post this on the main Munich page though, as I get overwhelmed by requests which I have to mostly deny. So if you're traveling through Munich over the weekend, we could work something out...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

slept on couches in Canada and hitchhiked through Europe, taking full advantage of other people's heart-warming generosity and trust - now it's my turn to pay back any way I can...

Musica, film e libri

anything inspiring a new frame of mind...

Movie-wise, I love anything by Tarantino, messed up stuff (David Lynch, Russian art movies, Trainspotting, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy...) and suffer the occasional "horror-movie-frenzy". Also, I know ALL the survival stuff that's on TV by heart (dual survival, Ray Mears, that idiot Bear Grylls...)

I'm not a big reader in my off-time, unfortunately (usually professional literature), but when I do, Spinoza, Leibniz, ancient philosophers and good history books take my fancy.

Music-wise, I don't really have a preference, festivals and clubbing usually revolves around electronic music (esp. minimal)

I haven't DONE anything amazing yet, but I experienced a few awesome things.

High up on the list is spending 48h in Moroccan prison during a hitchhike. Tried crossing the border 'illegally' by attempting to swim from Spain to Morocco (hint: do NOT make bets against Spanish bar owners, they have livers made in Russia)
